Junior Golf
The Road to Augusta is our junior golf program. The program is scheduled year round Tuesday - Thursday 3:30 - 4:30. We welcome junior players of all levels. Our golf pros teach with passion and enthusiasm creating a positive learning environment in order to achieve our youth’s fullest potential and enjoyment of the game. For those interested, our PGA professional prepares our young golfers to qualify for the Drive, Chip & Putt Competition held at Augusta National. The Club also holds an annual Junior Golf Tournament giving kids the opportunity to compete and show off their skills and we host PGA Golf Camps in the summer.

Want to improve your game? Our Director of Golf, Joe Haggerty, is a Bakersfield native. Joe has been a PGA Professional since 1983, he became a PGA Junior Golf Leader in 2004 and was given the PGA Southern California Northern Chapter Youth Player Development Leader Award in 2019.

Our ladies golf association's purpose is to promote and foster interest in women's golf through friendly organized competition. All SOWGA members are also members in the Women's Southern California Golf Association.
